I just want to thank my wife Kathy and The University of MN for helping to make this Disney trip such a wonderful reality for our family. Kathy was attending the CAUSE conference for higher education computing and information technology professionals. This allowed us to make the accommodations we did, and we were sure to pull up the U of M website when we were at Epcot. (BTW, how did that bookmark to MN-RW get on all the computers at Disney?)



This is a shot of the "Dolphin" Hotel-Resort, where the CAUSE conference was held. Our last stroke of good fortune was to find a coupon in the guide book we purchased that gave us $50 off at one of the many restaurants located in the Hotel.
Katie & I met Mom for a delicious Italian buffet after the conference. We had been at Blizzard Beach all day - it was the best meal of the trip for me - and we hardly had to pay except for the tip! The exclamation point arrived precisely at 9, when we once again could see the fireworks from Epcot at our window-side table!
