In a Class By Herself

In addition, Donis makes it her business to stay educated in the subject of real estate. She enrolls in continuing education courses each year to learn the latest technologies and marketing techniques that will benefit her clients. She is also an active member of Edina Realty's Exceptional Properties Division and The Townhome Team. In addition, Donis has earned her GRI designation as a Graduate of the Realtor Institute.

Well respected among her peers, Donis was elected to be a Sales Advisory Council representative of the Edina Realty White Bear Lake office from 1998-2001 and has received the Realty Alliance National Sales award each year since 1997, placing her among the top 5% of all residential producers nationally. You could say that, as a Realtor, Donis is at the top of her class!

On A Personal Note...

Donis grew up in the small town of Buffalo Minnesota in a family of five, including one brother and one sister. She learned her business and sales skills early on in the family business of retail floorcovering. Her parents own two Carpet One franchise operations and have successfully done so for over 30 years.

Donis attended Hamline University from 1984-1988 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and elementary education. After graduation, she taught in a private kindergarten program for two years and received the award of Honor Teacher in 1990.

To pursue the public school sector, she left in 1990 to begin substitute teaching and did so for three more years. As a result, Donis has gained knowledge and information regarding many area school districts and what each has to offer that has helped relocating families in her busy real estate career.

Donis is enjoying life as a newlywed after marrying her husband, Gene Dzialo, in October of 1998. They enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise! Gene has been in management with Honeywell for about two years and is originally from Chicago, IL. In their spare time, Donis and Gene enjoy boating on the Mississippi River, downhill and cross-country skiing, spending quality time with their Yorkshire Terrier, Chelsea, or working on one of three investment properties they own and rent out.
