In our minds you went beyond the call of duty of what the average Realtor would do for a client, especially one from out of state. You spent 8-10 hour days with us three or four days at a time searching for the perfect home to meet our needs. We flew to Minnesota on three different occasions and each time you gave us your undivided attention. You sent us pictures and descriptions of potential homes we might be interested in as well as calling us on a regular basis to keep in touch. We were a hard sell as you must have shown us at least one hundred houses but you never gave up and we finally found the perfect home which we love even today! Bruce and Kathy M. |
Our experience with Donis was a pleasurable one. Selling or buying a house can be one of the most stressful events in one's life, having Donis represent us was certainly the best thing we have ever done. Donis, I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful service I received as a first-time home buyer. I wanted a townhome because of health reasons, I knew I would not be able to do the lawn and snow removal care that would be needed in a home. We first started looking at existing construction and I just couldn't see myself in any of the homes we looked at. You then suggested looking at some new townhomes. I was leery because I thought that meant more money than I could afford. But I saw them and fell in love and made arrangements to purchase one the very same day! I have been in my home for 3 1/2 years and really enjoy it. The best part is not having to mow a lawn or shovel snow! What I really appreciated was the service when I bought, the research you did to find things that fit my list of needs, the time spent looking and even coming along when I made the purchase arrangements with the builder and of course, the closing. It is a challenge to be a single person and to be making the biggest purchase of my life. I appreciated the patience and help. In the years since I made my purchase, you have been a wonderful information source for several things, most recently when I refinanced and had my home appraised. You looked up the sale prices of homes in my development for me. In addition, because of your efforts, Edina Realty is partnering with my place of employment to help people relocating to Minnesota.
