Birnamwood Public golf course

Birnamwood Golf Course is owned and operated by the City of Burnsville. The well maintained nine hole, par 3 course is located near the intersection of Burnsville Parkway and Park Drive. Burnsville Ice Center

Located in Civic Center Park, the Burnsville Ice Center offers daily public skating, open hockey, and skating instruction year round. Call (952) 895-4560 for more information including schedules, pricing and discount passes.



Burnsville parks and recreation

The City of Burnsville has a vast variety of parks and recreational facilities for your use. Features of these parks include picnic shelters, recreation buildings, tennis and volleyball courts, and canoe rack rental. Terrace Oaks Park
Click on the map to see an enlarged view of the walking, running and biking trails available at Terrace Oaks Park, a 230 acre park located in east Burnsville. Bike trails open for the season on May 15 and remain open until Oct. 15.

School Information

Independent School District #191 serves more than 11,500 students from Parts of Burnville, Shakopee, Eagan, Savage and Apple Valley. This award winning school district has 10 elementary schools, 3 junior highs and several options for senior high students including the Cedar Alternative Center ot the Dakota Technology Careers Academy, as well as traditional high school programs.
